The Pease Creek ramp and camp ground looks like it is out of order for the rest of this year due to reconstruction. All in all it is a freaking mess right now. It sure was nice that the South Dakota GFP didn't bother to put up a sign out on the highway telling the Labor day crowd that the ramp was closed.

We where at Snake Creek and there was something being done at the ramp. There was tires in half the parking lot and another ton of them floating. So how was Pease creek, The snake area was preety sloow.

Fished the north wheeler area, Which I had planned to, just thougt I would launch at Pease as we were coming from the south. THe fishing was fair on Saturday. We had a pretty good limit 3#'s the biggest, saw a 7 at the gutt table. Sunday we went to wagner and messed around as the wind was too much for me, wife and 2 year old. Had a pretty good time at their labor day celebration. Went out Sunday night for 2 hours and got 3.
Were there a lot of boats at Snake???

On Friday, hardly any boats and I caught 5 all small, on Saturday it was rough, 3 to 4 footers by the bridge,and a few boats, I tried to pull plugs but my wife and 6 year old was not having alot of fun (my 20 month old was with grandma)Sunday was great my wife indicated that this was the last time for her to tub---so we mad a fun day of that type of stuff until 1:00 pm then we packed up and headed home. And there was a full half lot, the other half was tires. With cooler temps coming hopefully the fall will be one of good fishing.
