Don`t forget about Crawler Harnesses . Our 2 biggest fish on Friday out of Huron came on them trolled behind Fishseekers. Both were a tad over 10 lbs.

Dwayne,

Are fishseekers the same as hoochie mama's used for deep water salmon fishing?

Fishseeker is the name of a non-floating, unweighted, non-directional, diving planer that has two sets of adjustments that allow you to select a depth from 5 to 70 ft with 100' leads. Not for high speeds, but they pull about the same as a crankbait. Good for harnesses, spoons, and stickbaits.

Earlier version had a release, newer ones are designed to flip over when you have a fish or reel in fast. I like the release version. Excellent product.

Hope that helps,
jc

A thing that I figured out with spoons to catch bigger fish is use the normal size spoon (size up from scorpians) and run them just fast enough to make them flutter behind a dipsy(1.5-1.8). It has been working well for me the last two weekedns out of lorain. The 31st of august I had 18 fish all over 5 pounds and 2 of which were 10. Last weekend I caught 18 fish and 13 were over 5 with 2 almost 10.
Hope this helps
