I will be in St. Germain, WI from October 2-7. I will be staying on Big St. Germain. My time on the water is limited to those days and I want to put myself in a position to catch fish. I can trailor to other lakes, but would prefer not to venture far from Big St. What lakes should I concentrate on?
Thanks in advance for any help,
Todd
You can fish the main rock pile out from the boat landing on big saint at night with lighted bobbers, and redtails or cast crankbaits, best places to hit would be the rainbow flowage fish around the wood. You can troll cranks on the flowage, Also Trout Lake is a huge deep lake that is a great wealleye factory. Get a guide on trout or fish deep weeds 15-25 feet with lindy type rigs. leeches or redtails. These areas will put you in the area. Use your electronics and use good walleye tactics and you will catch fish on these lakes. I would rate them Trout #1, Rainbow #2, and Big Saint#3. Hope this helps have fun.
