I am going to try Lake Cumberland in mid-October for walleyes. I have never been there and would appreciate any advice and info on fishing this lake.
Thanks, Frank.

SHENADOAH,
If you do not already know it, Cumberland is a hugh impoundment. I've never fished it for Walleye but have did pretty well the last couple of years on the Stripper's. From what I've read and heard from some of the locals they're usually found on the points on the lower end of the lake. I've also seen some really nice size fish that were mounted
at the place I normally stay down there. I've included a link that might be of some help to you. Check the Lake cumberland general fishing report. It does seem to be up to date but you can call the guide and maybe he'll be willing to share some info.

Good luck and be safe.

If I were you..i'd take advantage of the awesome striper fishing while i was down there and book a guide for at least a half day trip.
Quiz him about walleye fishing while out with him. Try posting a message on the kentucky message board at www.fishin.com for walleye info, although not much info posted concerning walleyes..the lake seems to be underfished for them.
