Hi Guys: I would like to get out for some perch fishing this Sunday. My boat is an open 18 footer, so can only go out a few miles or so. Where are some perch spots between Cleveland and Astabula. Would like to get minnows too, so if you can suggest a bait shop close by that would be great too. What about Geneva State Park? Thanks, Ohio Fisherman

they are running near east 72nd pier and a bout 1 mileout of wildwood. we limit out almost every day foe the past week. a lot of jumbo's

You can also buy minnows right at Wildwood park - and the bait shop will give you solid location information.

astrabula or conneaut 50 ft limits for weeks now, they are still biting limit in 2 hours or less usually, loads of perch and loads of boats! buy your bait at knightlingers bait 1 mile south of conny.

Jvolpe...the perch slowed this past week...i should be on the lake right now, but the wind is blowing up some 5-6 footers right now...were were going to try for the perch again then go nail some steelies around elk creek...hopefully ill be able to get something goin here soon...
