I fished Sunday from 2:00-4:00 and managed to catch about 40 perch. This was the smallest batch of perch I have ever caught out of Cleveland. Most were about 5"-6". We ended up keeping 15 that were 7"-9". We fished adjacent to the D marcher due North of E 72nd st.

When we came out the waves were 2'-3' and steadly increased to 3'-5'. I Gaurantee there were a few 6's in the mix. The fish seemed to be unaffected by the cold front that came through. The bite was steady until we left. It was an interesting ride back to the ramp in my Lund, 1440 Rebel. I wish I was out there today instead of yesterday.

I don't know how you stayed out there as long as you did with that size boat. Of course you were going with the waves. We tried getting out at 2:00pm and as you know, it was already at the 2-4ft level and increasing to 3-5's. We hid behind the breakwall by rocky river till it looked like rain and than went in. Saw a few boats come in with everybody soaked in it. Wish I was out there today too. They were getting some nice size perch out your way just the day before. There's always next weekend, won't be able to say that too much longer.
Good Luck!!

Went out Sunday off Wildwood in 50 feet. The pack said they were not doing much but I had two ten year olds and one other guy who never fished before and the three of them boated 50 nice fish (9+). We threw about 40 back. Most fish came between 10:30 and 12:00. We were using crappie rigs with a third hook off the sinker. Two turns up.
