Heading up to Winnie for a long weekend. Never fished there before, so any advice on locations/techniques that might be effective this time of year would be greatly appreciated. Crankbaits? Live bait rigs? Jigs? Reefs? Steep dropping points? Weed beds? Inlets? Thanks in advance for any info-it is truly appreciated.

They're biting all over. Problem is, they're charging $350 per gun, per day. Oh wait, that's a different story!

Fished this afternoon, water temp 55 degrees, fishing very poor for me, only some smaller northerns, fished the high banks, and bowens flats, can't figure it out? this time of year the high banks is usually a no brainer, not today though.

We have been hit with a major league cold front, turn over and a couple of other things.
Let the weather settle for a few days, and I expect that the feed bags will be on.
