Detroit River????

Heading up to Detroit next weekend for a wedding and would like to get out at least 1 day while there...would appreciate any info as to where to fish or what is working this time of year. I've fished there in early spring but never this time of year. Thanks, Rick.

For walleye try the deep weedlines along the channels.Vertical jig with a pumpkinseed worm or minnow.Along the main channel or the grosse isle channel I always pick up fish.Might be musky,bass,walleye but you will get fish.Right now the water is dirty best stay on the US side with the cleaner water.

Hey guy.....was out yesterday off of Fighting island & Grosse isle & picked up pike,walleye,smallies & largemouths.Not a bad day & very few boats.Not all caught vertical jigging though,spinnerbait in the weedbeds is fun.You never know what toothy critter will smack that spinnerbait.
