I know this is a "walleye" site but I just had to post this. I have received a couple of e mails asking me this so I thought I would just make a post & share this with y'all. Chances are most of us can do this BUT if it helps out 1 person it's worth it.
I have been asked "How do you Y bone pike ?" My short answer is "Cut the line & pray that the slime doesn't get into the boat...." ;-} (sorry, couldn't resist)
ANYWAYS, years ago I found a web site that shows & explains it to a T. Actually, I think keeping a pike for shorelunch is a better idea......let's them walleye grom up to become "Sumo Piggies"*tm/TC*
