Anyone have any luck out of Huron this morning? Thinking about heading up there tonight and towing some spoons. Thanks

Rich ,I have a buddy that is out right now. He banged the perch good this morning good at the 35 18 lines. He is out right now trolling cranks at the 35 20 lines. He had 6 eyes the last time I talked to him at 1:30.Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info Cap, unfortunately did'nt make it out last night, but we will be there this afternoon. Talked with a few guys here in Port Clinton and have heard though the fish are spotty, better catches being landed on the SW lines in the Huron area. I was also told plugs seem to be doing as good if not better than spoons as of late. I am a full time Coastie stationed here, new to and learning the area. Thanks again.
The best areas around Huron ,the last few days is in Front of the Vermilion river. 99% of the charters from all over are out there, as well as the locals, including me. today some real dandy fish were taken there, not a lot of limits, but most boats had fish, and some nice ones at that, the bigguns are getting cranked, so if the weather holds we are going to be having a ball, and soon too. good luck and good fishin.
