Went to Aurora for about four hours yesterday morning. i fished over on the east side about half the way back. I caught about a dozen perch and two trout ripping a 1/8 oz kastmaster. Later i put on a small Husky Jerk and caught a small smallmouth and two more decent trout. May head up into the hills this weekend? Anybody else get out?

Out on Pueblo for the first time in over a month on Friday night. Pretty scary out there with low water and newly exposed islands. Caught the ugliest walleye ever. A 14# carp trolling a husky jerk on leaded line. Also lost about 4 reefrunners..ouch. Gee what's next for a grand slam.Fishing was great this year for the wrong fish.

Did you have the boat out, or did you fish from shore? I assume you had the place to yourself. I'm thinking of Pueblo and Aurora combo for this weekend. I'll have to see how nuts the kids are driving me.
