I fished Lake Francis Case just down from the dam at Ft Thompson on Fri and Sat. We did well both days. The fish seemed to be scattered in 9-16 feet of water, we were using jigs and minnows. the water seemed to be moving pretty well just enough current to push the boat along at the perfect pace. The big boat ramp on the east side had pretty good water level and I was able to put the boat in there. I don't know how the water levels will hold up. Sat was a beautiful day with four of us catching our limit and we released at least another limit of 14.5 inchers.

Glad to hear you had a good outing. Just curious as to where you were fishing? Were you down around Crow Creek or north of that, closer to the dam?

I haven't been out there a couple of months and hope the weather cooperates and lets me go out there for a weekend soon!

we were right out in front of the big boat ramp in ft thompson. we tried crow creek and caught just a couple. so, yes, we were north of crow creek very close to the dam.
