I have the chance this weekend to head out for the northern indiana area for 3 to 4 weeks.
I could sure use and appreciate any info regarding perch or steelhead or any other specie that is happening.i think we have the eyes somewhat figured out in the st. joe,but would be up for any lessons on them also.
I've been told that winter will be showing it's ugly head back there
starting this weekend.this would be sure to change some things.

thanks to any/all that can help.

oneforseed , I think this cold snap will help the fishing on the "Joe" . Steelheading slow but picking up . Drifting or dropping back spawn is good now , biggest problem is catching leaves . Trolling Hot-n-tots or Double Downers can catch about anything also . Some nice Brown's in river also . Water is super low , got a little rain but not enough to matter . If the wind cooperates (it hasn't yet)I like to hit the big lake & troll spoons for browns or steelies . The guys at Tackle Haven in Benton Harbor are a good source of info there .
