hi den. hope you've had a good winter so far. personaly i'm going through walleye withdrawl.my question is.when is a good time to plan a trip to HURON.is the fishing any good by march-april? my best friend and fishing partner is relocating to florida.and we'd like to get one more trip in before he leaves.really looking foward to haveing a cup of coffee and chating with you this SPRING.be safe and good fishing GLEN.

Seems like most successful fishing that time of year comes from the island area and west as the fish are staged to spawn. Primarily from west sister to the Toledo shipping lane and even farther west.I believe that the Ruggles Beach area holds some fish but west is best this early. Good Luck. Skipnskul ch. 79
Fishbait, what skipnskul said is true, there are some taken here early , but the west end starts earlier. you can stop in anytime for coffee and a chat session though. give me a call anyime, see you soon. good luck and good fishin.

Little Smoker dropped me a note today. He is ready to fish too! He said that he will be out as soon as you give him a sign. Please let us know when the bite starts up!
