Lots of big ice flows coming down. Only people crazy enough to go out there right now are duck hunters! just call me crazy!!

thanks for the info. i've been out there when "some" ice was floating down.some of it was invisable.got to watch for seagulls standing on it.and also go real slow.i want to try hunting there someday.i live on a farm west of toledo, ohio.last 3 days we've been having some pretty good field hunting on mallards and geese.we always get geese, but it's been a long time since we've had the mallards working the fields like they are now.i love to fish the lower detroit riverearly spring.i've caught some dandy perch up there.good luck to all and be safe.happy holidays ken

Went over to the cross-dike this morning, afraid that we wouldn't be able to fish because of the ice. There was no ice there, but no perch, either. Only caught one perch and a few pike. Trenton Channel was muddy and full of shad.

Real low water by the Lake Erie Metropark ramp. I was churning up a ton of muck on the way back, even with my outboard tilted in the highest possible setting.
