Good ice , 6 to around a foot of ice on most lakes now. A few are driving out in some areas now and a lot are using 4 wheelers.
Walleye: The big lakes have been the best now but there's also been decent action on some of the smaller lakes too and overall not as deep as some would think, Look for the fish in about 12 to 20 feet yet.
Northern: Action has been good everywhere.
Panfish: They are just geet going on Moose, Nelson Lake, Lake Hayward and some of the small lakes.
Moose lake
Out here on Moose lake we have 10 inches to a foot of ice and while there really don't seem to be very many anglers out yet, those that have are getting good walleye and crappie action. look for the crappies in the deeper channel areas and around the cribs and the walleyes shallower on the channel edges and edges of stump flats. Also while we do not have much snow yet if you want to get that sled out the riding on the lake is good now and the lake is pretty long so you can do a little exploring too for the next fishing season as with the lake drawn down 5 feet as it is every winter you can find a lot of good structure and spots for next summer.
We are open all winter here at Sportsmen's Lodge too for lodging.
