Was at Bass Pro this weekend shopping for a light action spinning rod. I thought I was familiar with the brands out there, but had never heard of Falcon rods. Seems like a pretty decent product at an acceptable price ($60-$70). Anyone out there heard of Falcon, or even better yet - actually used one?

I have sold and used the Falcn rods. Presently I have a couple of thier light panfish rods and a 10.5 foot " noodle" or steelhead rod. I think they are excelent rods for the money.

I have several Falcon Lowriders, all casting. A buddy has several Falcon Lowrider spinning rods and loves them. He uses a LFS-4-6 for jigs and a LFS-4-66 for all around use.

Falcon is marketed more to the bass market and has a solid reputation. The Lowrider series compares favorably with the St Croix Premier series. The Silver Series is the same blank as the Lowrider without the Fuji Concept guides. Both are good value.

Ditto - JRS - Bought one for VERY light spinning - liked so well bought another for light jigs - tubes - worms (basssssss fishing) but when walleye fishing it's my jig rod.

Very good and sensitive - 70 - 80 at Galyan's and worth it.

Ive been using them for the last 4 years and accumulated several in the arsenal, both the silver series and the lowrider. When comparing price and sensitivity they are a good buy. In Minnesota you can find them at Thorne Brothers if Illinois is closer call Bedford sales in Morris. The web site has a complete listing of there offerings and I beleive you can order direct.

I bought a couple of lowriders from Al's Fish net that were on sale, very nice rods for the money. I've been using them for a couple of years now for bass & walleye. They have a rod called the walleye special which I liked for erie dearies.

I have 2 of them a FC-4-17 and a FC-6-17 and I like them a lot.
great for spinner and crankbaits. Rods have good action and
just enough back bone.

good luck
