Would one of you guys or gals post a fishin report for the island area ? Going up on Tuesday and need a little info. Will be fishin off west shore of South Bass. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks ahead of time.

Fairly slow. You can catch 'eyes but you really have to work for them.

Walked out fri night sat and sun all day. Was real slow near Green.

Marked maybe 3-4 walleyes - caught 1 about 22 inches Sunday at 10:45 am. Group of 5 next to me caught 5 walleyes Sat about 10:30 am and 2 on Sun at 10:15 am. Other group of 3 guys said they caught 10 total this weekend. Small #3 rapalas(group of 3) and small swedish pimples (green) are what I caught the eyes on.

I also caught 7 nice perch.

Hopefully they will turn on more as the water clears and wind dies down. it was mighty windy this weekend and cold.

Hey Tom~just curious~ how was the ice out there and along the way...Any open cracks or such?
Is there a safe trail yet for ATV`s or snowmobiles going north or west off catawba???...Thanks for any input........Len

Just left S. Bass on Mon. Morning. 5 guys caught 19 in two days. Fish caught on blue and silver little cleos and green and silver pimples. Ice is thick but rough out to the fishing grounds.Good luck
