Hi guys,
I know this isn't about walleyes but would appreciate info if possible. I'm planning a trip to Big Sandy region of Kentucky Lake (Near Paris, TN) for a week during the month of April to crappie fish. What would most likely be the best week to go?
Any advise on good fishing spots would be great also.

Thanks in advance - cbeauchamp2@home.com

try going to www.fishin.com and checking the kentucky or tennesee boards. not near as professional as this one but it's a start.
good luck!

p.s. I hear Reelfoot lake is the Crappie capitol of the world!

Youve got to fish the Blood River area.April can be an awesome, Ive done alot of fishing down there over the years. Spider trolling crappie rigs or jigs are going to be your best bet if the fish arent on the banks.Troll multiple rods along the points and flats if the fish arent spawning.Pay special attention to your electronics, there are ton of brushpiles put in by the locals. There are alot of two pound plus fish in the blood creek area.If youre looking for a guide contact Steve Mc Adams, he lives in Paris.Good luck drop me an email if youve got any more questions or need some more contacts.
