I am planning on purchasing several spinning rods for vertical jigging Detroit, Illinios, and Mississippi Rivers. I'm usually operating the t-motor on bow. With this investment, I would like recommendation on length of rods and why.

I prefer the sjr722 but I know that some people like to use a shorter rod sjr6420. If you are going to go with loomis get the 2 power rating. This will give you the backbone to drive the hook into the fish's month. Remember the first 2 numbers are the length in inches and the last is the power rating. 72=6 feet etc.
