Bad Apples in chat room!

I stopped by the chat room and couldn't believe what was going on tonight. I feel sorry for those who went to talk about fishing and had to read some of the stuff these people decided to say. I would hate to see everything have to go to a registered type format. Oh well, I feel bad because I hate to see people act like this on such a great website! Hey Mike,

Obviously, those of us who have administrative controll cannot be in the chat room at all times. That someone had to put up with vulgarities, etc., is even more unfortunate than our not being able to be all places at all times.

However, that does not mean you have no course of action. 1st, just bug out of the room. Second, e mail me or Scott and we will look into the problem.

As Scott has so eloquently stated, no one is invisible on the web. While we do not use this fact as a big brother dictatorship, we can use it to let individuals know that certain behavior is not tolerated on this web site, or our chat room.

There are plenty of ways people can privately communicate on the web without dragging everyone else down.

Sorry to hear about that, Mike. I was fortunate enough to be at a basketball game so I missed it. There's been lots of strange faces in the chat room lately which is why I pop in and take a peek anonymously before I sign on as me now. I don't like to stay in there with a bunch of strangers. Actually, I think this year in the chat room has been pretty good? Remember all the trouble that we had last year with hackers????

As "Chatman" stated, we cannot be in all places at all times but we do try to cover our bases.
