I just returned from Pelican Lake near Belmont. We were there during the cold spell last week. The perch were biting like mad but they were all small. Everywhere we went throughout the lake we had numerous small fish. We even used larger spoons and small rapalas to try and ward off small fish to no avail plus they attracted the Northerns (Jacks). There are suppose to be bigger perch in this lake (Masters). Local help was severely lacking in terms of information. If you find them let me know where and how you caught them. It may have been adverse weather that foiled our efforts. We did then go to Devils Lake and caught some nice ones.
