I was out today with out much luck.Water on main body of water 36.0deg. Water skiers cove 37.0. Did some jigging and trolling without a bite. The only thing exciting was a couple of bald eagles fishing. Lots of dead or dying shad 1-3" long.

Same problem I had a few weeks ago out there. I think all the dead shad will make us have a better fishing year this year. Less forrage for the eyes and bass.

I think what amazed me was the different sizes of shad. Saturday, I walked the shoreline and the diversity in size of the shad made me take a mental note for this coming season. Yeah right.
By the way, good luck to you and the TWA guys down at the NM tourney.
