Hang in there,
Think of it this way, your body is already starting to repair itself, what a wonderful machine our body is, after years of abuse, it still fights to be as healthy as we let it be.
Think of it being 32 months, and 14 days!!!! :-) :-)

Yeah, going walking tonight after work...
And I actualy didn't reach for the pack on my way out the door this morning.
It kinda sucks right now, but thats life. I spoiled myself for 20 years, time to pay the piper I guess.

I for one am proud of you. As they say in a "club" that I belong to....One day at a time. It`s easier if you just concentrate on doing it for the present time. You`ll be suprised how it becomes second nature. Neep it up and keep us posted. Beav
KEEP IT UP Jeremy! Your almost over the serious craving. I quit 20 years ago and I know it was tough. You can do it if you REALLY want to. Thats what my uncle told me. I quit that day. Keep it up, your almost there. The first week is the worst. :-)
Try to keep your mind on something else,
when ever you start to get that feeling,
MY LUNGS ARE GETTING PINK,THE BLACK IS
GETTING LESS EVERY DAY.& I have $20:00
in pocket.

Hey Jeremy,
Iknow how hard it is, but believe me, IT'S DOABLE (Is that a word??)..I read that you almost reached for a pack going out the door this morning..Do yourself a big favor and throw those nasty things away..Don't make it harder on yourself by keeping them in the house..HANG IN THERE!!!Like they said..Your lungs are already starting to pink up..Soon, you'll be able to taste what food really tastes like..If wife smokes, ask her nicely to do it outside away from you..Don't know if you have kids or not, but it will almost immediately be better for them..God will give you the strength to get through this if you ask for his help..
Good Luck,

Quitting is hard to do. I have tried a ton of times but now I have it licked. I am going on nine months. The way I quit came from a suggestion from my nephew. Take the money you spend on the smokes and buy fishing tackle. It worked, now I don't have the morning cough, but I do have alot of cranks.
Good luck, you can beat it

Congrats ! If you need a counter....I use a program called silkquit. Stays on your desktop and tells you how long you've not smoked, how much you've saved...etc. Best of all, you can do this...
One year, three months, two weeks, four days, 23 hours, 48 minutes and 16 seconds. 15773 cigarettes not smoked, saving $2,518.74. Life saved: 7 weeks, 5 days, 18 hours, 25 minutes. I LOVE IT!!!!!
If you want it, email me....I'll send you a copy of the program or search the net for "silkquit".
Or email if you want to chat....
