The fish are biting the ice is fine depending where you are at. Some areas the ice is wearing thin with the strong winds creating current. WE stopprd at one spot it was only 4 inches thich at f can. The 911 crack is opened up to about two feet. If the winds don't change soon it will be over.

I was out today, caught 11 eyes myself and had 9 come unbuttoned. Went out at at 8:00 and could have come home at 10:00. I came in at 12:00 just having fun. The crack was not open at that time on the trail. Today was the best day I've personally had. Got mine on both Silver and Gold Hammered 1/20oz Michigan Stinger Scorpion Spoons. I'll be there in the morning again, anybody wants to go I leave Catawba at 8:00. I have a White Dodge with a White Cap and pulling a green 4 wheeler. Hopefully 1 more day.

Wish I could Brian, but brother John is out of town, so I'd better stay close. Good luck, have fun, and give one of those released females a big ole smooch for me.

Griz I was out again today and had 2 fish at 11:00 then all heck cut loose. 5 of us limited in less than 35 mins. We left at noon, done! We sure did draw alot of company. We weren't even packed completely and we had people begging for our holes. We were straight out the trail about 4.5 miles forgot to punch in how far ,Sorry. I'm hoping to get out Thurs morning then that will be it for me.

Jim for the most part most fish are in the 3-4# range with an occasional little guy. Yesterday we did get 4 in 27-30" range. Probably 9-11#'s No scale !!
