I have been reading all of the posts, and would really like to give Erie a shot, before the Ice is gone, however I will be making a long (4hour) drive, so if anyone could answer some questions, it would be greatly appriciated!!

1. How do the Ice conditions look for Saturday?? With the predicted temps and such, will it still be fishable?

2. I have a quad and sled,GPS and all of the gear, however I will be coming with a buddy-- are there any regs in Ohio about riding double on a quad?

3. Where is the best and/or safest access? I have fished out of Catawba during open water periods, but are there any closer or better launches?

4. Are there any places to buy bait nearby, or do I need to bring it along with me? Also, which sizes of minnows are working best?

5. Is there anyone that would be willing to let us follow him out on Sat. morning. I keep a 26' salmon boat in Ludington MI, and would be glad to trade a Salmon trip on Lake MI, this summer, for a little direction!!!

Thanks in advance for any advice!!
