went up to pymatuning yesterday hoping to see some open water, but only saw ice fisherman. heard, but cannot verify, that there is still a foot of ice on the lake. does anyone know for sure? i am really itching to get going.

heard there was a bit of open water down at the spillway and they were catching perch and crappie. Sure hope this ice goes away soon I can't wait!!!

saw several guys sunday at the spillway fishing out on the rocks and a few guys right at the bridge, other than that all i saw was ice an lots of it, heard there was still up to 17 inches on parts of the south end.
