Hello,
Just recieved my software for Erie today. This is a wonderful investment, should save alot of time once on the water. Been having fun putting in GPS #'s and locating shoals and humps on the lake. You are able to download them to your GPS too. I have a new toy to help inhance my walleye and smallmouth fishing this year. If anyone has some good spots on the lake and would like to share them, I would be very happy to enter as many spots onto the program for future use someday. Eastern Basin is where I would usually fish but spots anywhere on the lake, central and western basin would be great. Thanks to all who are will to help. JJ

Explain the interface between your GlobalMap in the boat and your desktop PC in the 'home office'? That part isn't clear to me. It's a fantastic idea and very intriguing to me.

Hi,
You might have to forgive me for possibally saying thinks the wrong way, I am learning this computer stuff as I go. I have a hand held Garmin 12 that is capable of being hooked to my computer at home to download the corrdinates into, so I have been told it could be done with this unit. I do not have globalmap on my boat, Yet! At www.lakemap.com it explains the cd. I am pretty impressed with this. I am looking forward to the Lake Ontario cd in July. Thanks for all the answers. JJ
