Any of you Detroit locals know if /when the launch will be open? What about Erie Metro and Wyandotte launches? Thanks in advance for any info.:7

Wyandotte is open, I am pretty sure Lizzy opens on the 1st. Not sure about the metropark.

Come on over and enjoy the woonderful hopsitality and fishing the area has to offer.

Just because you dont see "welcome anglers" signs hanging from every street corner dosent mean we dont enjoy visitors.

Forget that last statement. I see you are just down the road from me.;)

I launched at Wyandotte Saturday. Elizabeth Park was open as well. Not sure about Lake Erie Metro, but I'm fairly certain it's open as well.

L.E.M.P. is open with two docks in. They should be putting the remainder in any day, if they haven't already.

On Saturday I registered 41-42 degrees upriver, and 43-44 downstream in the Trenton Channel. There were mixed reports of a few fish taken, but sporadic.

We didn't fish at all last weekend - just getting some hours on the new rig. I'll be out Saturday for sure, likely Sunday as well. Maybe even Thursday afternoon, schedule permitting.

Was out today. Boats were launching from Elizabeth. Temp. was same as previously posted. Lots of limits or close coming from National Steel, further upstream now, and a few taken near the Edison plant. Went perch fishing myself. BIG footballs by the hole in the wall and the cross-dike.

I don't know any of you locals by face, but I'd like to meet some of you. I launch from Wyandotte and will be the ONLY person dragging a Tracker with a Monte Carlo SS.

Never seen a Monte float before.

I was parked next to your car and trailer yesterday. Like you said, not too many people dragging a boat around with a Monte.
I managed to jig up only one 18incher by the 40inch mill.
Tried a bit of lining around the area with no hits.
I think it may be still a bit early, but sure dosen't hurt trying.
Great day (afternoon) out on the 'ol river.
