dempseys public ramp on marblehead is your best accsess to the bay. a far as shalow areas you should get a map at the local bait shops. most of the bay is shallow..6-10 ft deep.a good map wil show hazards in the area.

The Shelby Street Public Launch in Sandusky can be used. $5.00 fee. Went to the Bay from there on Thursday. About a 10-15 minute boat ride. Very Shallow between the railroad tressels. Beat up the prop a little bit on the rocks. Most of the Bay is around 6-10 ft. Hope this helps.

The river is running muddy so the blade jerkers are in there glory days at the bridges.

ReelTime, If you are planning on coming on Mon. the 7th, bring a snow shovel with you.I am in Toledo and they are calling for a chance of 3-6 inches of snow for us starting tonite and ending Mon. evening.
