Hey guys,
Any recent reports on the Walleye bite at Potholes? I have heard a few reports of some fish being caught with the warmer water temps, etc. and was just curious if anyone has fished there in recent days. Thinking about taking a little fishing trip this weekend.
Thanks in advance...

I have heard thru the Grapevine that the bite has slowed quite a bit. I did hear however that they are being caught up by the spillway. remember that the rules have changed just below the spillway to Single hook only. From what I understand, above where the Moses Lake spillway Channels meet the restriction is single hook.
Don't forget we now have a gear restriction above the Y found
where the two Moses Lake Spillways meet. Only one hook is allowed and it may
not be larger than 3/4 of an inch between the tip and the shank. This new
gear restrictioin is an effort to stop snagging of walleye during their spawning
run.
Anyway, Good luck and let us know how your trip goes.

Yeah, I just got off the horn with a buddy that lives in Moses Lake and he was saying that those people are just throwing blade baits with big ole treble hooks and snagging the ##### out of em. I don't know exactly where they are doing it, but someone (hint, hint: wdfw) needs to put their foot down hard on that.
