Hi. I am heading to Port Clinton, Ohio to go Walleye fishing on a headboat this Tuesday. Can anyone tell me how the Walleye fishing is going there? Also, can anyone offer any tips on techniques and colors of jigs to use? Should I stick to minnows, or try some nightcrawlers as well? Thanks, and good luck fishing!

Dave take some blade baits with you. Don't try to put minnows or worms on them....just rip and drop to the bottom on a fairly tight line and hang on.

Fished Locust Point on Friday & Saturday. Although it was slow, limited on Friday and only got 6 on Saturday. Jigs (various colors & types) tipped with large shiners. Good Luck!

BLADES have been the hot ticket on the reefs. Some reefs are holding bigger fish -- limit sat. contained a lot of 4 to 4 1/2 lb males...
