Might there be fish to be caught by trolling the upper lakes - say Winneconne - this weekend or is it too soon for the fish to have returned to the lakes from the Wolf?

Thanks

I might just go out today or Sunday. My first choice of baits will be the baby thundersticks and #5 shallow shad raps.If the water is full of trash get out into the lake farther. If the cane is starting to come up get next to this as the baitfish will be there and the eyes can't be far.

Trolled the mouth of the river on Poygan yesterday. The weatherman was a little off on the wind speed.Pulled baby thundersticks, first pass got us one 14"eye and that was it until the wind picked up and we decided to call it a day.The colors we pulled were perch, rainbow trout, blue and chrome, metalic rainbow.the fish we did get was on the trout pattern in 5-6fow.The water was very dirty due to the wind the last couple of days.Might be better after the water clears a little.
