How is every body doing on the walleyes. I plan on taking my son on his first fishing trip there friday to sunday, and was hoping you could help me out on the where and what so he can catch a few walleyes.I will be watching this sight with as much intensity as he has for this trip. A previous post said a few guys caught some nice fish, but i didnt know on what end of the lake,or how deep etc.Please help, because i sure need it, and dont want to look like a total greenhorn to him.

We boated 5 walleyes and 2 muskies. Trolling in 6-8 ft. of water
at night. Mostly J-11s. In the day we caught perch(yellow and white)
and crappies.
Water level is good and temp is low to mid 50 degs. As of last weekend.
As the month moves on it will be more difficult to fish shallow
with more docks being put out and weeds increasing.
