winter fishing Namakin,Sand Point????

I was going up to Crane Lake this weekend and was wondering if anyone has winter fished Namakin and Sand Point. I would really like to fish them for a day or two. I am looking for walleyes of course. I fish it quite a bit in the summer, but never tried it in the winter time. I know the lakes pretty good, so if you have specific spots, I would probably know where you are talking about.

Any help would be appreciated.

The only area that I have heard about has been at the mouth of the Ash river, which is actually right between Kab and Namakan. Sorry i can't help more. When I was up snowmobiling in mid-January I spent the night at Voyagaire Lodge and there were about 20 guys out in the early am parked on the ice,and the owner said they where out fishing eye's, so you may be able to see others out there.
