Hey REW thanks for the great info on barametric pressure you posted the other day, I've read alot of article that didn't explain it that well and you used half as many words!

Ranger, thanks for the little poem that is now in one of my tackle boxes. pretty much sums up what REW said in an easy to remember poem. i printed it out, ya know the memory isn't as sharp as it once was.

there are a lot of weekends that i choose either sat. or sun. the info is one way i can better choose which day to be out.

Just curious. What does "YOUR POWDER DRY" mean?

I'm assuming here (yes, I know the saying about assume;-) ) but "keep your powder dry" refers to black-powder hunting. Wet powder is a real bummer!!!! I believe it originated in the old west days when most mountain men carried Hawkins rifles and the like for survival and wet powder could mean the difference between eating and not.
