I might fish later this afternoon if the wave height goes down as predicted. I would either launch out of Mazurks or Huron and fish anywhere clean water and marks found. We did ok Friday night w/ 10 fish (2 fish O's) pulling spoons off of Longpoint, but after 7:00pm that night it shut down quick and guessing they are heading east. The water N of Kelly's seems to clean up quickly, at least what I have seen after the last few big winds. Anyone else going to be out, or opinions on where the scattered schools might be? Thanks in advance.
fyi: Vermilion weather buoy at 0600 shows a wave height of 4.3 and dropping consistently.

We'll be out early this afternoon....ENE Kelleys.
When they report a wave heigth of 4.3 foot,, you can double the height of what we would call those waves.
Hal, so tell us how you did?? Jimmy Mc and I would love to come up and do some nigh fishing so keep that night bite going...

Could be tough to get a night in yet this year....too many things going on and not enough time in the day (or night) However, I would love to get you guys out for the night program!
Today wasn't as bad as I thought. 2-4's going to 1-2's by late afternoon. There was still some clean water on the NE side of Kelleys that was fairly nice. We pulled 5 nice eyes this afternoon, 3 were tourny quality fish. All on cranks, RRs and T-Sticks 80-150 back Rainbow Trout, BlueGold Tiger, and Clown.

Wished I could go fish Erie after work!!! Hey the post about wave hieght. BUSY-- what do you mean? The waves will be twice as big or small? I check Dean's site for weather reports and don't even try if I'm reading about the 3'-5's. THANKS Jason
