Shadow...Im a mystery...lol
Ill have plenty more pics once we start up in the Erie PA area with the bigger boat.
I camp on the Ohio Side campgrounds. I dunno if they have a specific name...but it is the one on the west side of stockers island.
JV we have caught roughly 43 keeper eyes this year...all from pyma...all in the south end as well...Not bad i guess, every1 is talkin big fish...well we only got 2 fish this year over 20. One was 23" the other 22" all drifting.

Does anyone know of a campground around Pymatuning that stables horses? I have a friend at work that wants to bring his wife, kids and horses and camp at the lake but isn't having much success finding a campground with horse stables. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

They have lots of horse trails at West Branch near Ravenna but no actual stables....what about Mohican state park ?....

Great boat CB!! Nice eyes too... haven't been down much but last 2 times we went we did well, 7 keeper eyes both times and one day my father in law got his first ever toothy bugger 34" muksy followed by his second a 28"er about 30 minutes later. Has been a good year thus far. Wish I could get down more but am busy as a cat on a tin roof with rigging sailboats and am building a house starting in July. Not much time for playing this year. Hope to get down one day next week.

THATS INTERESTING CAUSE I CAUGHT ALOT OF BIG FISH ON NORTH END AND THE SMALLER KEEPERS ON SOUTHSIDE. AS A MATTER OF FACT, THIS YEAR I CAUGHT MORE 18-25 INCHERS THEN PREVIOUS YEARS. AND I CAUGHT LESS CIGARS. I ALSO EXPERIENCED THAT THIS YEAR I NEEDED TO BE RIGHT ON TOP OF THE MARKER OR I COULDNT GET THEM TO BITE. 10FT. EITHER WAY AND IM NOT GETTING BITES.

HAVE YOU BEEN UP HERE LATELY
GOOD LUCK

Raider...Ive been using an anchor alot this year...In fact that has been my method in about half of my trips. Especially when fishing a worm, you have to be right on top of ur rod at all times to detect that 1st strike. If your drifting and they dont "nail" the bait...thats it...so keepin the bait slow and not hoppin all around has been key.
I dont worry about size from pymatuning, if i want some big hawg walleyes i just go to lake erie. I like those smaller fish they make for some good eating.
Thanx for all the compliments on my boat...i enjoy it...
