Does anyone know where the perch are hitting in the western basin on Lake Erie and What are they hitting on?

The perch have beeen biting good between Marblehead and the
southeast corner of Kelley's Island. Also, in 30+ feet of water
east of Kelley's Island directly east of the airport runway and
Northeast of Kelley's Island up on the US and canadian border.

Also, good catches are being made in Vermillion.

If there is a little wind, yo should catch'm.

The Detroit lighthouse area for sure. I haven't been perching in the area for about a week, but the last spot was just S.E. of the lighthouse, hugging the Canadian border. You may have to seach a little bit, but stay in the 17'+ range. Small crawlers or shiners on a drop-rig. Drifting harnesses worked well also. Some other areas with fewer numbers but bigger perch are the channel between the hole in the wall and Sugar Island, the channel next to Powderhouse Island, and the shallows on both sides of the hole in the wall. Basically that whole area.
