My brother, and I are going too St Clair next weekend. Any body got some tips or know of an area that is good for smallies.
Thanks
Here's a tip, wait till June 21st when the season opens.

Hunter.
Don't take this the wrong way. What a person chooses to do right or wrong, is either rewarded or penalized, and it's up to him to choose what road to walk down. And truthfully, this isn't about me or my business, but check out my new Avatar Picture in the corner. This guy caught this smallie on the Tittabawassee River after chartering me last Friday. It was 19 1/2 inches long and just over 6 pounds. I'd give you and your bud a deal if you felt funny about specifically targeting a closed specie on the Lake. Probably wouldn't be as exciting as running around on Lake St.Claire, but it's different and often productive.

Why not wait until the season opens. Yes you can get away with it, but killing fish now is like killing several hundred, as most of the fish you take are tending beds about now, much more so with the late season spring/summer we are having. Hope the DNR is out if you go, slim chance of that however.
