Going up to Gull lake for a week wondering about conditions and spots. If you tell me depth that would be awesome. I never fished the lake before. I usually go to Leech but the fishing has been so dismal, plus I am going with the in-laws so Gull it is. I know last year it seemed to be on fire. But I being the guy I am kept hitting my head against the wall on Leech (I am thick headed and think I can squeeze blood out of turnip) Long story short any info would be great and I know there are great fisherman(person's)on this board who would know.

Thanks

Don't know how much help I will be but I fished Gull with a guide two weeks ago. We fished redtails between 15 and 20 feet on Lindy rigs. The one spot I know for sure where it is is off the sandy beach resort. We caught 5 or six fish there. We also fished Rocky point and picked up a fish or two.

Most of the fish we caught came from Round lake (very close and accesible from Gull). We fished the same rigs about 200 yards N of the public access and a bar that is pretty much in the middle/west portion of the lake.

Stop by Koep's bait shop in Nisswa and ask around, the guide we used fished out of there and everyone seemed to be helpful.
