Hi, I am going up to Moose Lake by Deer River, next week and I was wondering if anyone knows anything about where to fish walleyes up there and some tips. If you can help i would really be thanksful.

There are many mid lake humps that hold walleyes. Best bet is to slip bobber fish them in the evening. During the day work the east shore in front of the public landing area out on the 16-22' break line north from there. Don't overlook the fabulous muskie and pike fishing either. If you have never been on Deer Lake you might want to bring your boat over there as well if you brought your own. It is beautiful and the Muskies in there are huge. Have fun and wave as you go through Grand Rapids!

There are many humps that top out at 12-16 ft. They are small but worth searching for. Good Luck!

I was also wondering about the panfish there. And as far as the muskie and pike go do i just look for good weed lines? Thanks again man and I will be sure to wave when i go through Grand Rapids.
