Since no one gave me any reports out of conneaut I went to walnut because it is a half hour closer for me. We caught 6 walleyes, 2 steelies, and 4 perch on tues. and wed. We fished outside of elk in 70 ft. of water. Took everything off big dipsies and stingers. We mustve looked like pork chops cause black flys ate us alive. Short pants is definitely bad idea if you go. They luv legs. Also, some folks were doing better closer to state line in same depth with same set up. If u go, I would recommend further west. Also, the lake was flat,hot and airless. Not complaining, just lettin ya all know!
