Buddy of mine was up at Big Stone during the 4th and didn't see too many fish being brought in. Managed to stick a few carp a long the way for some excitement. Has anyone been doing anything this week as far as walleye, perch, or bluegill?

Was up there over the 4th as well.
We fished just off the southern most island in about 12 ft of water with a spinner and a crawler. Caught 5-6 each morning in a bout 3 hours of fishing. Most were 13 1/2" of couse, but did manage 2 keepers each day. Did not catch a single perch, but of course the sheephead were biting.

Ahhh, Big Stone Sheephead! I stay at Schmidts Landing when i go and have my best luck on their docks. Just my luck... buy a new '03 1900 Pro V and launch it, pull around right in front of the dock and fish. hehehee
