Anyone getting descent numbers of perch in Michigan waters on Erie? I can't seem to find them this year.

I think you need to give it a few more weeks.
They will be there soon...

I'm bummed because this time last year I was getting limits or close to almost every day around Celeron. Early July they started hitting good, before the weeds engulfed the islands. We brought back a load and fried them up while watching the Stanley Cup playoffs last year. 6 hours yesterday and not one single yellow perch to show for it. Celeron/cross-dike area, into Ohio past the lighthouse, and back. Lot's of little whites perch and silvers, that's it.
I've heard that the perch won't move in until the walleye move out. What's your opinion based on experience?

Its been a late spring fairly cool summer, I dont think the temp reached 95 yet for more than a day or so. Things are just running a little late.
The perch will show up. Give it time.

The turn around bouy is very hot right know for good size perch.Limits of 9-12 inch perch have been coming into the local baitshops in the area from there.
