WC Get-Together (East Basin)

After conveying to Scott Golden my concern about the planned Lake Erie (Barcelona) get together being called a "Walleye Central" get together, he assured me that this is what he wants it to be! Now all we have to do is talk him into attending as well! The dates are set for August 4th and 5th. This will tie in nicely with the following weeks PWT tourney in Dunkirk. I have about 20 people on my mailing list who have shown an interest so far. If any others are interested, send me an e-mail with your e-mail address so I can add you to the list. I'm trying to put together a list of places to stay in the Barcelona/Dunkirk area. I have a couple (the one's I stay at) but would like to have more so I can send out a list. The Westfield KOA Campground has a limited # of cabins. Looked at them last year and they seem to be ok for a long weekend, KOA has an 800 # if interested. Glad to see we will be getting together. Can't wait for ice out! JJ

i have charters both days but i can come up at the end of the day there are lots of motels in erie pa if anyone needs a list email me and i will send you one erie is about 1/2 hour away hope to see every one at the event dan

Just wondering what the hot baits were on the eastern last year during that time frame,curious to see if they are the same as the part of the central that i fish,im restocking the tackle boxes again too,soo lets hear it guys. I run alot of crawler harnesses with large willowleafs over past 5 seasons hot blades have been:
1. Firetiger
2. Watermellon
3. Rasberry
4. Purple, Purple/Silver, Purple/Gold
5. Pink

Most of the guys running stick baits run Pirates in the purple or green or Yozuri Blue/silver

I also did fair on spoons last year again alot of colors of the blades.
