If there is ever an upside to tragedy, it is the hope that can be seen in people themselves. Its how people put aside differences and pull together. It about caring and loving. Its about living.
I came back today and read all the responses to my post from yesterday and I shed a tear when I felt the warmth and caring from all of your responses. If there is a God above, and I do believe there is, he has heard your thoughts and prayers and is comforting the Earnhardts right now and is welcoming Dale home. Dale has left us with so many wonderful memories. He has taught us how to succeed; how to push on and give that extra "umph"; how to bring out the best in others; how to be a man;...how to be a human being.
Times like these make us look at our own mortality a little closer; to look at our loved ones and give them that little extra hug and say 'I love you' one more time. Life is too short to not live. Live life like Dale...love and be loved and live each glorious day like it was your last. Thanks Dale!
