Thought I'd see if I could get a little input from some local fisherman in my area. Since there isnt many walleye guys in my area. I been keeping a tight lip on some fish I found the first of Dec. I found a hole on the Monongahelia that has I believe a considerable amount of fish in it. But havent been on it since my FICHT motors been in for repairs. Thanx OMC! :-) Anyway, me and my boy found a 35 foot hole that we caught, I'm just guessin 60 fish in around 3 hours. 90% were walleye, other 10 sauger. Thats pretty good for our area. Most of the time I use Jigs and Tails and tip with a minnow. All the fish we caught that day were around 10-13 inches. I think we may of caught one sauger that went 16 or so but not anything for the table that night. One of my questions was where were the bigger fish? We tried upstream about half mile and down half mile but no fish. Has to be some big fish somewhere. Its around 5 miles in between locks with one power plant and several water discharges. The ice is off here. And we had some 60 degree days last week. Shouldnt be long here. Bummed a boat off my buddy today till mine gets out of the shop. Hurry up Bombardier! I should be back in the water by weeks end. Any advice on where to find the bigger fish? You guys over in Hopwood Pa. might have a few pointers. The fish on the Ohio River are just starting to bite. Shame though we cant eat em. ##### things glow in the dark here. :-) Russell
