I am looking for a recent walleye report for cass lake. Or any information from people with experience fishing the lake this time of the year. Thinking about heading up there for this weekend.
Any help would be great.
Thank You,
Kavy
Kavy;
I just returned from Cass on Sunday PM, we fished Thursday, Friday and Saturday and probably hit the mother of all cold fronts, so fishing was very slow during the day. I'd suggest night fishing in 5-8 ft.'til about 10:30 or 11. Our best success at night was on Lil Rippers. During the day only small fish [12'-14"] were being caught. The BIG fish are still very deep, 40-70ft. We stayed at Wishbone resort, but they may be closing soon if you're interested.
Good luck,
Gary

I am also fishing on Cass this weekend Sept 27. We plan to use jigs and fat heads. Last year we caught plenty of fish 14" range. trolling raps will work along weedlines. Don't forget your musky stuff.
