The bite has been tough to say the least. My brother (Captain Ken) is a charter captain our here, and he has have never seen it so tough at this time of year. He hasn't been out on the water the last two days, but some of our guests did pick up a few yesterday, so maybe it is starting to improve. He is scheduled to be on the water everyday for the rest of this month, so I will let you know if it is improving. Good luck on the water,

I was able to fish sat afternoon and sun . I went out to shoals off of ford river could not find fish that were there labor day weekend .I came back and fished shallow weeds and managed a 6 and a 2 before midnite . Sun i marked a lot of fish in deep water ajacent to center reef but also a lot of bait with them . I caught 1 13 inch walleye and 20 inch northern . watewr temp 52 this needs to hit mid 40's I think for things to realy heat up
